Tripcrew
Terms of use
Effective August 20, 2026
The short version: Tripcrew is free, what you put into it is yours, it is run by one person and it is given as it is. The rest of this page is that said properly.
Who this is between
Tripcrew is made and run by Josh Holzhauser, a sole proprietor in Lakeland, Florida. Using it means you accept what is on this page. If you do not, do not use it, and if you already have, delete your account and it ends there.
This page covers Tripcrew on Android and the web at tripcrew.joholz.app. What it does with your information is a separate document: the privacy policy.
What it costs
Free. There is nothing to buy inside Tripcrew and no advertising in it.
Your account
You sign in with an account you already have, so keeping that account secure is between you and whoever provides it. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you. You must be at least 13 to have an account.
What you put into it
The only permission I take is the one needed to run the product: to store what you write, to show it back to you, and to back it up so it is still there tomorrow. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
I do not read your content, and nothing in Tripcrew is used to train an AI model.
What you agree not to do
- Do not use Tripcrew to break the law.
- Do not try to reach anybody else’s trips, or to get around the rules that keep them private.
- Do not attack the service or attempt to overwhelm it.
What is not promised
Tripcrew is given as it is. It is one person’s work, it does not come with a guarantee that it will always be available, and it can change, or stop, at any point. To the extent the law allows, there is no warranty of any kind, and I am not liable for anything lost through using it or through not being able to.
In practice that means keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. That is good advice about any free service, including this one.
If Tripcrew is ever shut down, there will be notice at tripcrew.joholz.app and a way to get your information out before it goes.
Ending it
You can stop at any time. Deleting your account removes your information, and the account deletion page says exactly what that takes with it.
I can suspend or remove an account that is being used to attack the service or to reach other people’s information, which is the only reason I would.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Changes to these terms
If these change, the effective date at the top changes and the new version appears here. Carrying on using Tripcrew after that means the new version applies.
